These gardens sit deep within the protected core area, where production is naturally limited and tightly regulated.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"494\" data-end=\"887\"\u003eTraditionally smoked Zhengshan Xiaozhong is increasingly rare. Pinewood smoking requires long overnight firing, careful temperature control, and access to local pine—now heavily restricted to protect the mountain ecology. Because of this, true smoked batches are made only in very small quantities each year. From the 2024 harvest, we were able to secure \u003cstrong data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"886\"\u003ea small, carefully selected batch\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"889\" data-end=\"1202\"\u003eThe tea opens with a gentle, warm pine smoke—present but never aggressive. As it settles, notes of dried longan, floral honey, and subtle wood emerge, with a smooth, rounded texture reminiscent of longan broth.
