Private Wuyi Yancha Tasting | Summer Event

This Summer Cha Moods will hold a Wuyi Yancha/Red Tea ('Hong Cha' ) Tasting event in the city center of Amsterdam. This is a sneak peak of our latest Wuyi Oolong and Red Tea selection! Be the first to find out the whole universe behind Wuyi Red tea with us.

Time & Date: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Aug 6th, 2023 

Location: Nieuwe Herengracht 25-H, Amsterdam

Number of guests: Maximum 8

The program:

• The guests will taste 4 different types of Wuyi Hong Cha/Yancha, the first 3 are the classic, all from the Wuyishan Natural Reserve Areas
  

• 'Wuming' Lao Zong Lapsang Souchong, 2022

• 'Jin Yao Shi' Big Red Robe, Oolong Tea, 2022

• 'Gaozong Shuixian' Narcissus, Oolong Tea, 2022

• The last one will be a surprise 

• Cha Moods will explain what the various Lapsang Souchong/Da Hong Pao is, the origins and the cultivars

• We will guide you on a full rounded tasting tour, from how to brew Hong Cha/ Yan Cha to how to appreciate them

• We will do comparative tasting on two teas, together with a blind tea tasting 'contest'. 

• We are happy to answer all the questions you have on Chinese tea in general. Small snacks will be served in the meanwhile for a better tasting experience.
