These matcha bowls are part of the Shan Cha Hua 山茶花 (Camellia) series by artist Feifei, hand-thrown and glazed in Jingdezhen. Its clean white form is gently adorned with hand-painted camellia blossoms in soft qinghua blue and green mineral pigments. The use of qinghua paint with Jingdezhen local white clay displays the artist's expression of the classics of Jingdezhen with his own modern interpretation.
