A flat pear-shaped teapot with a low center of gravity and gently rising shoulders.

The body widens horizontally before tapering toward the spout, creating a stable, grounded silhouette. The elongated spout pours smoothly and cleanly, allowing for quick, controlled infusions during gongfucha sessions. Its broader chamber encourages even leaf expansion while maintaining responsive heat control.

Crafted from fine hongni (红泥) sourced in the Phoenix Mountains of Chaozhou, the clay has an elastic quality suited to wheel-thrown teapots. Compared to denser Yixing ware, Chaozhou clay produces thinner walls and a faster heat response, making it particularly well suited for aromatic teas such as Dancong oolong.

The surface carries a soft matte finish that will gradually deepen in tone with use.
